He played with the kind of risk that is rewarded with applause, the kind of risk that makes the crowd go "ooh" and "aah", the kind of risk that brings titles. He granted FC Twente their first price ever, by scoring a trademark long-distance bullet of a shot against PEC Zwolle in 1977's cup final. In total, he played 423 games for his club, FC Twente. Good games, great games, epic games. He played for the Dutch national team amongst great players such as Rinus Israël, Willem van Hanegem, and Johan Cruijff. Unfortunately, he died way too young, at the age of 49, when he was playing a friendly football game. His name was Epi Drost and he will never be forgotten.
